A lesson aimed at Year 3-4 pupils, discussing how to assess and plan for risks. We used this as a part of our topic ‘Everybody’s Invited’, planning for a party at school but this could be easily adapted to any topic. Resources includes PowerPoint and PDF file of task differentiated 3 ways.

This resource will support you in holding a circle time/P4C (Philosophy for Children) style discussion about inclusivity. We used this as part of our ‘Everybody’s Invited’ topic, to discuss to what extent we could ensure we were throwing an inclusive party. This comes under the RVE (Religion, Values and Ethics) curriculum in Wales and can be adapted for other topics easily. The resource includes a PowerPoint presentation and also a Word document with possible suggestions for discussion questions.
